Choose from a variety of colors and patterns! Babies and toddlers will enjoy playing with these necklaces instead of pulling and pinching mom!

Special Safety Bead: A Tickled Pink Designs original! We were the first to use this special bead in order to make our necklaces safer. This bead breaks in half if the nursing necklace is tugged on too hard and you simply pop the two halves back together! This virtually eliminates the worry of a knot coming undone or breaking. Once a thread, or rope is knotted, that knot actually becomes the weakest point. But with these nursing necklaces, the weak point is this safety bead and the break is instantly repairable! If you are allowing an older child to play with it, you want it to break: safely, in case the nursing necklace gets caught on something, while still around the child's neck. This safety bead virtually eliminates any strangulation worry that you might have with other nursing necklaces.
Spectra® Fiber Cord is one of the world's strongest fibers. A form of white polyethylene, Spectra fiber is up to 10 times stronger than steel by weight. It's strength is superior to all other fibres! Extremely tough to break (for most people: impossible) and even cut resistent, the strength of this cord combined with the safety bead give you confidence that your nursing necklace will not break and spill beads everywhere! **
No hemp cord. Some competitors of mine used hemp cord and found that it either broke over time or after much drooling by baby, became a yucky, smelly mess (not that I recommend using it as a teething tool anyway!)
Greatest variety of beads on any nursing necklace or breastfeeding necklace, anywhere! I am always getting in new beads, including vintage plastic beads, making each nursing necklace unique.
All knots are hidden! Wouldn't you rather look at a colourful bead than a knot? These nursing necklaces are packed with beads! No scrimping!
No wood beads. If baby chews and sucks on them, they can sliver over time. Coloured beads can leach dye if sucked or chewed on. The plastic beads used on these nursing necklaces are non-toxic, if your baby does get them in his/her mouth.
From the manufacturer and upheld by Acorn:
**As confident as I am about these nursing necklaces, every parent must be aware of the possibility of rare, unforeseen accidents. As such, no child under the age of 3 years should be left with this tool unsupervised. Also, due to the hardness of the beads, these are not recommended for teething purposes. Over the age of 3 years, use caution and be sure that rules of safety are clearly explained: don't use near machinery, at the playground, while sleeping, etc. Don't chew beads or swing necklace around. Strange things happen everyday. Better to be extra-cautious than extra-sorry.
By purchasing a Tickled Pink Designs Nursing Necklace, you agree that you are held fully responsible for anything that happens while you or your baby or anyone you know is in possession of this necklace. Tickled Pink Designs will NOT be held responsible for ANYTHING in regards to your purchase and any accidents that might happen. Beads, in general, are a known choking hazard. Your baby could die from a loose bead that has made its way into your baby's mouth. And you agree that this is not the responsibility of Tickled Pink Designs. If you are not confident in the safety of this product and/or you do not agree to use it wisely and never leave it alone with your baby, then please don't buy it. Not only do I not want to be sued, I don't want anything bad to happen to anyone's sweet, innocent little baby. And neither do you, so treat your necklace with care, as you would a cooking knife, scissors, glue, etc. None of these things are inherently bad but bad things can happen if a baby is held responsible for their use!
